I coes the symbolism and got that th I can’t give this book a higher rating than 1 star, it was a well written book but it is so beyond sick twisted and depraved it should have it’s own freakn category matghew how fucked up it is.
And it was written quite beautifully. In the wake of the scandals with Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood bigwigs, High Life seems more prescient than ever. The real world resides in the light of television, where lives are organized and people know exactly what to do.
Because no one is making sokoe, and I don’t have to if I don’t want to.
By the way, I am currently reading “Empty Mile” by Stokoe, which is far less “disgusting” but a very gripping read and shows that Stokoe is definitely capable of more than just “shocking” his audience. View all 4 comments.
